Fathers – Single Parent Style

Single parent dad’s account for 1 in every 45 households with children in the U.S.!

You are one of 2.5 million single-parent fathers in the United States.

You are not alone.

You’re required to wear many hats now.

Others before you have done it successfully – you will too.

Dad – You’re the GREATEST!

Fathers are people too.

Have fun with single parenting.

Every child needs a father they can count on.

Children thrive when they have an involved father – someone who loves them, knows them, guides them, and helps them achieve their destiny.

Remember – to your children you’re daddy-riffic!

At work, you’re expected to set goals, meet deadlines, and win at all costs.  At home you’re supposed to be tender, compassionate and supportive.

Fathering your children successfully is a process that includes little, everyday events and time together.

Connect with other single fathers.

Your role is to be there for your children. It’s all about the children now.

As a single father, you’re forced into many traditionally female roles in order to survive in your home. It’s ok, you will survive the cooking, cleaning, washing and grocery shopping.

Your children learn how to be husbands and wives by watching their parents.  Now you are at times both parents.

Well, here you are Dad, it’s all yours.  You can do it!  I did!

“Being a great father is like shaving.  No matter how good you shaved today, you have to do it again tomorrow.” Reed Markham

“A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society.”  Billy Graham

“Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord”   Ephesians 6: 4

(Exasperate means to have one’s spirit broken or to be discouraged or disheartened.)Fathers_Day
