God chooses what we go through. We choose how we go through it.

Shopping – Single Parent Style

Always have a list when shopping.

Shop from your list, not from impulse shopping.

Shop within your budget.

Never use credit cards.

Only buy what you can buy with cash and what is in your budget.

Shopping on the weekends is the most crowded time.

Take your children with you when shopping for clothes for them, so they can try them on.  It saves a costly and time consuming trip back to the store to swap sizes.

Shopping with all your children at the same time is very stressful and probably not very productive.  If possible, take each child shopping separately, by themselves.

Make shopping fun.

“If men liked shopping, they’d call it research.”  Cynthia Nelms

“Shopping is a woman thing. It’s a contact sport like football.

Women enjoy the scrimmage, the noisy crowds, the danger of being trampled to death, and the ecstasy of the purchase.”  Erma Bombeckdot-shop
